18K Gold Plating

As we all know... Solid gold is out of reach for most of us, that's where Milou comes in.

Our jewellery is a bit different. Each piece is carefully constructed from high quality Stainless Steel, before a layer of 18K Gold is applied to the surface of the jewellery, in a process called physical vapour deposition, or PVD for short. This process permeates and physically bonds with the stainless steel base metal, to provide a tough, durable, 'Life-Proof' coating, suitable for sensitive skin. 

This gives each piece the same long lasting look and feel as solid gold, effortlessly luxurious, at a fraction of the cost, and the best part, its truly 'Life-Proof'

That’s why we offer easy 14 day returns.

Please follow these steps:

1. Let us know - just email us at info@themidasco.com with your order number, your reason for the return, and if you’d like a refund or store credit, for another order. 
2. Post the item back within 14 days of purchase, in its original condition (unworn, unwashed, unsoiled, with all tags attached), at your cost.
3. We’ll check that’s all as it should be, and we’ll process the refund immediately (excluding return shipping costs) via your original payment method.

Please note we can’t offer refunds on sale items, but we are happy to exchange sizes or issue store credit. 

EXCHANGES

If the sizing is not quite right, we can exchange the item (or provide store credit if that size is sold out).

Please just follow these steps:

1. Let us know - just email us at info@themidasco.com with your order number, the reason for the exchange and what size you’d like instead.
2. Post the item back within 14 days of purchase, in its original condition (unworn, unwashed, unsoiled, with all tags attached), at your cost.
3. We’ll check that’s all in order, and we’ll process the exchange ASAP (excluding original shipping costs) via your original payment method.

Keep Me Safe:

When you're not wearing your treasured Milou jewels, keep them safe in your very own Natural Linen jewellery box, provided with every order, this ensures that your favourite pieces will always be looking their best.

(Please note, one box is provided per customer)

From time to time, give your jewels a gentle wipe down with a soft cloth, to remove any dirt or oils from their surface, that they may have picked up, during your busy day.

Life-Proof:

Our stainless steel based jewellery is guaranteed to be 'tarnish resistant!' This means that the jewellery can get wet, without damaging the 18k Gold Plating, making it truly 'Life-Proof'.

 Materials:
